With no teacher, filthy clothes and a classroom the size of a wardrobe these children walk to school over a 2000m mountain in the hope that one day they’ll have a chance to go to University.
They come to school everyday and when they get home they help the family to prepare dinner.
They don’t have much but they appreciate everything they’ve got and with smiles that could melt steel, these guys gave me a lesson on what is valuable in life.
The old saying “The things that you own will end up owning you.” Rings volumes in this part of the world.
The simplicity of family life, love and friendship cannot be bought but they will bring you more happiness than you’ll ever need.
Lots of love from Nepal.
