Today we made the national newspapers. My students have been creating their own flash cards for Nepal to educate the children in areas that are less fortunate.
These children are simply amazing and allowing them to understand the power they have a young individuals is something that I hold really close to my heart.
If we can allow them to understand that they can change the world, bit by bit. One child at a time then just imagine what will become of these children in years to come.
The greatest gift we can give our students is the gift of empowerment. “Yes you can do it and you can do it for a reason. “
These children will be our future leaders, we MUST allow them to locate and grow their moral compass as they move through their primary years.
They will stand up for what is right, make decisions based on ethical reasoning and will understand that others are in need of help and they are there to assist.
