Building resilience and adaptability comes from allowing children to take the lead during independent activities.
Things may not always go to plan, but allowing children to take the lead and make mistakes naturally, opens up the gateway to reflection and ultimately ‘learning’ will take place.
Where possible try not to intervene too soon.
