This is Rakesh. His story is sad. You can see the hurt in his eyes. He’s 12 and a migrant from India living in Nepal. His parents sent him away to Nepal to earn money for them. Working from 6am until 10pm when he should be running and laughing. He runs a fruit shop on his own. If business is bad his boss beats him.
Children are not assets which we can exploit, they are the soul of the earth and should be treasured not misused. It’s sad to see these eyes on such a small boy.
