Surely it is obvious to everyone, that by asking our children to achieve 100%, we are limiting their capability to reach the stars.
Remember when we put a ceiling on anything, we limit the outcome. Shouldn’t we instead spend our time assisting our students to improve and become a little better each and everyday.
It’s time we replaced a culture of generic and standardised comparison of our children with a culture of emotional, academic and personal growth.
Instead of telling children that they got everything right, wouldn’t it be more fitting to show a child how far they’ve come and what lies ahead!
