The only constant in education is change, and that change is you!

The only constant in education is change, and that change is you!

The 20% teaching rule is the only rule you need.

I live by my very own 20% teaching rule. Tell them the inspirational facts only! Make it a story, inspire them. Like this…….

The earth on which you are standing right now, is spinning at around 1,000 miles per hour, and travelling through space at about 68,000 miles per hour.

Although it may look calm and peaceful outdoors, you’re currently standing on a huge Rock that’s spinning its way through space faster than you could ever imagine.

Hurtling towards other galaxies, asteroids and meteors.

It’s like you’re a microscopic organism, living on the back of a phytoplankton that’s floating in the waves of the roughest seas. It’s chaos, but you’ve got no idea.

All is calm from where you’re standing.

And then ask your class. “Now what would you like to know about the earth?”

Life and education are not about the facts of what you see, it’s not about asking the questions you already know the answers to. It’s about the unknown, the unpredictable and the uncertainty of what is around the next corner.

Go on, have a look! It might be scary, you might get it wrong. But no one ever knows if they’re boat will sink unless they sail it from the harbour!

Have a lovely day! ❤️
