As the start of the academic year nears In Australia. Teachers, parents and children are all preparing for another year of fun.
I was so delighted to walk into one of our teacher’s classrooms today to see this key message hanging on the wall.
To me it signifies that the overall goal of schools and this classroom in particular, is to ensure that children feel safe and secure in their learning environment before anything else.
If a child is not happy in their environment then it is impossible to ask them to reach their full potential.
Set the foundations right and mighty oak trees will grow.
