It's important that our children understand that places like Syria, India, Africa, South America aren't fictional places, or places from the past or another planet.

It's important that they understand that as they sit in their classroom or home after eating a wonderful meal in the safe arms of democracy amd social justice. That there are children right now who have very little.

We cannot let children take these things for granted as they are freedoms that we as the privileged population have the fortune of having on a daily basis.

Once children know that these things are happening in real time. They immediately want to reach out and help. And that is when we as leaders should be empowering them to do so. ❤️
