Every single animal that lives or has ever lived in the island of Madagascar arrived there on natural rafts of drift wood and branches from the continent of Africa. The island has been an island for almost 200,000,000 years since it broke from Gondwana.
It is home to some of the most amazing creatures on earth but still we feel that we need to cut down the habitats of these amazing evolutionary creatures.

Please do me a favour and tell your classes about this tomorrow! ❤️
