90% of a child’s brain is wired before the age of 5. If there is one piece of advice for all parents and teachers that is crucial. It is;
“Read to your children, encourage reading, surround your children with books, listen to them read and expose them to the written word before the age of 5.”
All that hard work and effort will pay off as the child enters school and can comprehend, research, understand, converse and read.
Don’t leave it too late to expose your children to the power of reading.
Today we are donating books to a local pre school to encourage reading in areas where it isn’t the usual priority. Then sit back and watch those sends of knowledge grow into tall trees!!
