2018 will be the year I'll transform the education system in Nepal. "Teachers are not the font of all knowledge, but the bridge between the child's mind and the path to discovery."
Next year I intend to build the biggest and most innovative teacher training college in Nepal. The centre will be accessible to all, run by women (whom I will train) and will reform the way in which teachers deliver lessons to children forever.
If we keep teaching Nepalese children in the same Victorian way we are currently doing then how are we supposed to let this country claw its way from poverty?
With no purchases online, no credit card system, no running water in its biggest city and the highest pollution levels on earth, this country needs children who can innovate, not imitate.
And that's what I'm going to give them. ❤
