Today we are using the bead bars to learn about multiples, and squared numbers. (In the absence of the bead chains)
The Montessori bead bars are really the most amazing resource. Assisting children to practice their tables whilst looking for the illusive square numbers which incidentally are called so because when the beads are laid out you see a square shape.
It was the first time for these new students to see such materials and they were fully engrossed. Fun times. ❤️
