There’s a big difference between those who talk a lot and those who do a lot.
We can listen to those who claim to have all the answers but nothing beats taking it direct from those who live it Day in Day out.
If you want your children to reach their full potential model your expectations to them. Show them how you do it first and make your expectations clear.
Allow them to innovate but set the benchmark. Demonstrate clear instructions with modelled examples of the practice in hand.
“This is how I would do it, now go away and practice until you can do it equally as good or better.”
A failing teacher is one who asks the students to be a master at something they have not perfected themselves!!
