We educate our students to achieve great marks, high points and top grades, but we often forget to observe them as they grow.
We think that if we can distribute the facts, thus imparting knowledge into the minds of our students, that this wil then lead to success.
But success is not the end result. Success is measured by overcoming hurdles, solving problems, gathering teams and dealing with failure.
Success is having confidence to try, and the resilience to fail and try again.
I’ve learned that everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, but all the happiness and growth occurs while you’re climbing it.
There are many ways to the mountain peak, but the view from the top is always the same.
It’s time to let our children climb! And as they do, we should stand in awe at the newfound journey upon which they take.
