Are you interested in a free narrative writing package?

All too often we ask children to write a ‘story’ but have you ever actually tried to write a story yourself? It’s not easy.

A good story has a carefully crafted structure. It has great descriptions, inferential clues, cliffhangers, mystery and suspense.

Stories need planning carefully. They cannot just be written from the top of one’s head. Yet we often ask our children to go and write a story and then we sit down a critique it.

If you want your children to be craftsmen when writing stories, there is a huge amount of foundations that need to be laid. They children must have a theme, strong characters and a clear vision of the journey they are about to embark upon.
