Montessori wanted to educate the poor. The majority of the world don't have access to running water, the internet or electricity, let alone teaching materials that cost the earth. Here's a simple way to teach 3 dimensional shapes using only frozen peas and tooth picks.

The tooth picks can be reused and you can eat the peas when finished!
